The Board’s mission for Licensing Contractors is to assure quality and fair construction practices exist in all industry phases and protect the public’s safety and welfare. The Board was initially established in 1931, and today remains a bridge between the consumers and contractors of Tennessee. Licensing offers consumers a mechanism to voice their concerns.
